Jefferson Hall

The Jefferson Hall project consists of two parts: a fifteen-unit apartment building at 130 Glebe Avenue and a five-unit townhouse row at 207-215 First Avenue. The property is located on the former site of St. Matthew's Church Hall. The hall was deconstructed and the exterior stone cladding was reused as part of the new building. Because of the senstive treatment of this development, Charlesfort was presented with a Heritage Infill Award by the City of Ottawa. Charlesfort was given the "Builder of the Year 2000 Award" by the Ontario New Home Warranty Program for excellence in design and customer service for the Jefferson Hall apartments.
